Is It Just Me...

...or does the new Sherlock Holmes movie look nothing at all like Sherlock Holmes, and more like a crappy James Bond wannabe film set in the 19th century. As a pretty big fan of Sherlock Holmes and someone who likes Robert Downey, Jr., I am really bummed at how terrible this looks. It's like director Guy Ritchie said, "Let's make a movie about Sherlock Holmes but replace the high minded intelligence with explosions and sex." Good thing Ritchie didn't direct the Gandhi movie, or he probably would have had him jump the Ganges on a motorcycle with two hookers on the back.
