As another member of the above-mentioned team, I say that Tim failed in his attempt at grammar.
We are a group of approximately 15 people –- 6 or 7 of us show up on a somewhat-weekly basis –- most of us receiving paychecks from the University of Pennsylvania. I don't see why this is so confusing.
