Did FDR let Pearl Harbor Happen?

Today is the day that will live in infamy, and several local veterans are heading out to Hawaii to commemorate the event. But the question must be asked: Did FDR know that the Japanese were going to attack, and let it happen so that the public would be drawn into the war? The Straight Dope has the answer.
