Damn, not only is Biz Markie DJing tomorrow night at Fluid, but Reef the Lost Cauze is gonna be opening for Pharaoh Monch at the Troc. Slammin'! On top of that, several quizzo legends are celebrating birthdays this weekend. Rakim from the Axis of Evil Knieval and Chill Rob A from MAGMA both celebrate b-days. And Bob T.'s dream girl, the femme fatale known in quizzo circles as Smackdown (above,), turns the big 3-0. Happy birthday, all!

Well, JGT, I admit it, I do have a sort of crush on Smackdown. But it isn't meant to be.

BTW, what's she doing in that picture, telling you that you have some spinach stuck in your front teeth again?

Happy Birthday to Rakim, Chill Rob A and Smackdown.

And Smackdown, if you don't have any plans for the weekend, maybe we could do dinner. Then we could go back to my place and I'll show you my collection of etchings of famous Republicans and conservatives, and my collection of Republican campaign buttons and bumper stickers.

Hey Bob,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Smackdown will probably be spending her birthday with her boyfriend, who is a really nice guy, but (and I am NOT making this up) is a Mets fan.

It would be awesome (and very strange) if all of them partied together this weekend.

Bob T. said:

Well, then, never mind.

JGT said:

Nevermind? Nevermind? Bob, I thought you were bigger than "nevermind". I thought you were a warrior. You're gonna let Smackdown get whisked away by a FREAKING METS FAN? Frankly, I'm a little disappointed.

Bob T. said:

Smackdown can choose whom she wants. She's not a commodity to be wrangled over. I have a very large soul, and I'm only interested in her happiness.

Besides, my own girl friend doesn't let me go out with other women, so it probably wasn't a very good idea in the first place.

wow! i am a sucker for birthday wishes so thank you...although in true goodtimes fashion, my actual birthday is NEXT friday and seems he is trying to make me turn 30 a whole week early! but it still is pretty sweet of jgt to give us the shout out(femme fatale...i like it)
And yes, there is a Mets fan in my life, but i actually sent him the photoshop JGT posted earlier of the Mets player missing the catch with LOSING printed boldly beneath...he may be the boyfriend but i'm still the Smackdown

On behalf of all Mets fans living in Philadelphia, I commend Smackdown for her open mind....and note that it just reinforces my belief that New Yafkers and Fliadelfyuns are much alike but just root for different teams. Happy Birthday----30 ain't bad at all.
